HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The stars may be getting the last laugh this April Fool's Day.
Several celebrities have been lined up to pull pranks on everyday people for a one-hour CBS special that will air on April Fool's Day, the network announced.
"I Get That a Lot" will feature celebrities tricking everyday citizens in a case of supposed "mistaken identity." Posing as ordinary workers, the stars will leave the customers guessing whether it's really them or an amazing look-alike.
Among the celebrities lined up for the show are singer/actress Jessica Simpson, who will work at a computer repair store, and "Project Runway" host Heidi Klum, who will head the counter at a pizza shop.
Other star pranksters will include "Survivor" host Jeff Probst as a cashier at a grocery store, singer/actor Ice-T posing as an athletic shoe salesman, country star LeAnn Rimes taking food orders at a Nashville diner, and actor Mario Lopez selling hot dogs from a vending stand in New York's Central Park.
The special airs at 8 p.m on April 1.
