Christine Dolce Far From Forbidden on MySpace - page 3

By Jeff Ferrantino on April 30, 2006

Christine Dolce, Christina Dolce, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, young, model, Forbidden, MySpace, Playboy, Destroyed Denim, freeonesDolce's already landed an appearance on Jamie Kennedy's new MTV series, "Blowin' Up," which is another opportunity that came about (oddly enough) through MySpace.

"That was an awesome experience," Dolce says of the show, which will air later on this month. "They actually wrote an email saying, 'Hey, Jamie Kennedy has this new show and we'd love for you to be a guest.' Come to find out, I actually met Jamie about two years ago. He was like, 'Wait that's you? That's the same girl that I met two years ago?' This was before the show, and all the camera crew was like, 'Okay, can you guys do this later, let's just get down to business!'"

With her future as a star unfolding so quickly, Dolce admits that she's found balancing her schedule to be a difficult challenge on her own.

"I've had conflicts with my manager where he says, 'Get up now, we have this to do,' and I'm like, 'No, I'm done,' " she says. "You get to a point sometimes where you're just burnt out, but then you just have to take a step back and say, 'This is what I want, so I have to focus. This is my dream and I'm going to do it regardless.' "

Dolce recognizes that she could quite possibly be experiencing her "15 minutes of fame," so she's hell-bent on making the most out of them, if the clock is indeed ticking.

"There's no room for error right now," she says. "There's no room for me to be like, 'Oh I'm too tired.' This is it right now."

In addition to the obvious male admirers, a visit to Dolce's MySpace profile unleashes a more unexpected discovery; countless teen female fans that idolize her every move. Dolce believes that it's her strong personality, combined with her desire to succeed, that's led the younger generation to embrace her.

"I just think that there are a lot of insecure girls out there, and they look up to me because they see that I'm confident," she says. "It's not so much that you need someone else [in order] to follow your dreams. You can do anything you want. No matter what, just be positive, believe in yourself, and make things happen."

As for the future, many are already calling Dolce the next Pamela Anderson. It's a title that she relishes.

"It's very flattering," she says of the comparison. "Yes, it does put a lot of pressure on me. Sometimes I'm like, 'No, that's not me — no way. I can't be the next Pam Anderson.' "

Whether Dolce becomes the next Pamela Anderson — or sees her flame snuff out like the countless other "Web celebrities" before her — remains to be seen. For Dolce, it doesn't really matter, because she's already discovered what's out there, waiting for her. That already makes her story a victory, in her eyes.

"I think [that] now that I'm here, this is exactly what it was that I was looking for," she says. "It's not really even about the things that I've done. It's that there are younger girls who look up to me for everything that I do. Out of everything, I think that's what means the most to me; having people look up to me, and being able to make a difference in other people's lives."
