HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — While the romance may be relatively fresh, Paris Hilton isn't holding back when it comes to gushing over her new boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt.
"He's going to be my husband," the 28-year-old heiress told E! Online at Friday night's I Heart Ronson for JCPenney party in Los Angeles.
On paper, it would appear the couple is simply experiencing some early bliss, but Hilton points out they've connected for much longer.
"We're best friends," said Hilton, who split with rocker Benji Madden in November. "It's not like we just met. We've known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I'm really in love and really happy."
The pair are already the subject of engagement rumors and Reinhardt said wedding bells could certainly be in the future.
"You never know," the former baseball player and "Hills" star told E! Online.
In the meantime, the lovers are enjoying the opportunity to work together as they shoot the second season of Hilton's MTV series, "My New BFF."
"It's good having my boyfriend on set and watching," Hilton said. "He comes up with funny ideas and production loves him."
