HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — DeAnna Pappas is getting another shot at love after being disappointed on last year's season finale of ABC's "The Bachelor."
The 26-year-old Pappas, a real estate agent from Newnan, Georgia, has been picked to headline a new season of "The Bachelorette."
Pappas and Jenni Croft reached last season's finale of "The Bachelor" in November, but the love seekers were left stunned when "Bachelor" Brad Womack rejected them both. Womack was slammed by many after the show, particulary since he had even flown in Pappas' father and implied that he was going to choose her.
"DeAnna and I had something that's pretty special. But I did not see this crazy love that would turn into a lifetime," Womack explained to Us Weekly at the time.
"The Bachelorette" is scheduled to air this summer.
