Drew Brees Pictures: Drew Brees is presented with the 2010 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year award at the IAC Building on November 30, 2010 in New York City.

The New Orleans Saints quarterback, who lifted the spirits of the hurricane-ravaged city with his charity work and its first Super Bowl title, was named the recipient of Sports Illustrated's 57th Sportsman of the Year award.

"He symbolizes the people of New Orleans in many, many ways," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told the magazine.
