HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Britney Spears is off the hook for allegedly driving over the foot of a photographer last November, according to Access Hollywood.
Prosecutors have declined to press charges against the 26-year-old singer, after determining that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove that she drove her car over the paparazzi’s foot.
According to court documents, Spears was traveling at a low rate of speed when she became surrounded by a group of snappers in front of the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
The documents suggest that the only way the alleged victim’s foot could have been in harms way was by choosing to place it in front of the pop star’s tire.
Spears made a statement to the police indicating she had no recollection of the event and that she was not aware at the time that her car had come in contact with any one, the report says.
