HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Megan Fox is blowing the lid on what fans can expect from Michael Bay for next year’s sequel to “Transformers.”
“As big as the first movie was, this is 10 times as big, 10 times as many set pieces, explosions, and acrobatic stunts,” the 22-year-old actress tells MTV of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” which is due in theaters next June.
Fox, who immediately became one of the most desired females on the planet following last summer’s release, wonders if fans will care much about the on-screen romance happening with her co-star, Shia LaBeouf.
“Shia and I make out a little bit; I don’t know if anyone wants to see that,” Fox jokes of the next installment.
The young star, whose first acting credit came alongside Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2001’s “Holiday in the Sun,” says shooting on the sequel has been hectic so far.
“We’ve been having script meetings, and we’ve been reworking the script, because they wrote it fast because of the writer’s strike,’ she explained. “We’ve just been going through and trying to do some character stuff for Shia and myself in the middle of this crazy world that they’re in.”
Nevertheless, Fox says fans will get their money’s worth when it’s all said and done.
“I can tell you that we’re on locations in some really exotic places,” she says. “It’s just going to be a badass movie.
“[Michael Bay’s] main note to me is just to look hot; so I try my best.”
