‘Four Christmases’ Shows Plenty of Spirit at Box Office

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Fans got into the holiday spirit and helped lead “Four Christmases” to the top of the weekend box office, according to studio estimates released Sunday.

The holiday film, which stars Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn, debuted at No. 1 with $46.7 million in sales.

Last week’s top film, “Twilight,” finished second with sales of $39.5 million.

Disney’s animated film “Bolt” continued to do well at the box office, earning $36 million to finish third for the second consecutive week.
