Tori Spelling was born in Los Angeles, Calif. The daughter of legendary producer Aaron Spelling, she started her acting career by appearing on many of her father’s shows, including "The Love Boat," "T.J. Hooker," "Hotel," "Fantasy Island," "Vega$," and "Saved by the Bell."
Spelling's big break came in 1990 when she landed the role of Donna Martin on her father's hit teen soap, "Beverly Hills, 90210." After a 10-year run on the Fox series, Spelling appeared in several films, including 2001's "Scary Movie 2" and 2004's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover."
In 2007, Spelling became the subject of her own reality show on the Oxygen network called "Tori & Dean: Inn Love." The show featured Spelling and her new husband, Dean McDermott, as they ran their own bed & breakfast.
The following year, Spelling released her successful memoir sTori Telling.
