Lindsay Lohan Questioned Over Stolen Jewelry Following Elle Photoshoot

LONDON — Lindsay Lohan is front and center in the tabloids again after several pricey jewels were reported missing following the star’s recent photoshoot with Elle magazine.

Police in London confirmed that an investigation is underway after the magazine reported the jewelry — valued at more than $400,000 — missing from the site of the magazine’s June shoot.

In a statement Tuesday, Elle said there was no reason to believe Lohan is connected to the heist.

When reached by People, Lohan’s rep said the “Mean Girls” star is fully cooperating with the investigation.

“We inquired and everyone from the shoot is being questioned,” said the rep. “Hair, make up, stylist … even photographers. Lindsay hopes they find the jewels. She is happy to cooperate.”
