Nylon Magazine and A|X Armani Exchange hosted a private dinner to celebrate October cover starlet Elizabeth Olsen — a night that turned into quite the family affair! Her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley were on hand to celebrate their up-and-coming sister— although the Martha Marcy May Marlene star tells In Touch she and her famous sibs don’t talk shop much. “We don’t actually talk about work too much,” explains the 22-year-old star. “They do tell me to focus on my work and what I’m doing, and not to let anything come between what I want to do and who I am. But really, they’re just great, supportive, inspiring and creative people.”
Still, with Nylon and A|X Armani Exchange taking notice (and calling her the newest It Girl, even), Elizabeth must feel some pressure when it comes to fashion and following in Mary-Kate and Ashley’s footsteps. Right? Actually, no. “I really like academic classes and school work, and I enjoy writing academic essays. I feel like I am really lucky to have a good academic education,” the New York University undergrad tells In Touch.
Okay, so brains, beauty and talent? Yeah, we’d say that classifies Elizabeth Olsen as an It Girl, all right!
