Paramount Pictures has picked up the pitch Brass Monkey from commercials director Nicolai Fuglsig, which will mark his feature directorial debut. Paolo Marinou-Blanco wrote the first draft of the screenplay, based on Nicolai Fuglsig‘s original idea, and Brian Horiuchi (Circle of Ei8ht) will rewrite the script. Stefan Sonnenfeld will produce with Missy Papageorge and Sarah Perlman. Since the RealD logo is on display at the bottom of the poster, it seems Brass Monkey is being conceived for 3D. No production schedule was given for Brass Monkey.
