The Amazing Spider-Man star Rhys Ifans was recently interviewed by MTV, where he unvieled the voice of his signature villain The Lizard. You can check out the actor’s interpretation of this long-awaited foe in the clip below.

About voicing The Lizard, Rhys Ifans said the following.
“It’s totally my voice. I’m sure the voice will be toyed with in the eventual edits, but when I was shooting the CGI moments, when I wasn’t actually human, when I was Lizard, I looked like a crash-test dummy in a green leotard thing. There were many moments when I had to speak to Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as the Lizard.”
The Amazing Spider-Man comes to theaters July 3rd, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Denis Leary, Chris Zylka, Irrfan Khan, C. Thomas Howell. The film is directed by Marc Webb.
