Anderson Cooper Defends Teen Bride Courtney Stodden: ‘Leave Her Alone!’

By Amber GoodhandRadar Reporter

Anderson Cooper addressed “all the Halloween haters” who got teen bride Courtney Stodden kicked out of a pumpkin patch over the weekend and RadarOnline.com has the hilarious video.

Cooper featured the 17-year-old newlywed on his “Ridiculist” segment on Tuesday’s AC360 and begged, firmly tongue in cheek, viewers to give her and her 51-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison, a break.

“Getting thrown out of a pumpkin patch is just the latest injustice for these two kooky kids,” Anderson said.

“Doug and Courtney have had to face the haters ever since they announced their union but they’re dealing with it well.”

Anderson jokingly mimicked Courtney’s facial expressions, and accused her of “trying to eat her own face” but remained steadfast (albeit ironic) in his defense of the couple throughout the clip, likening their getting thrown out of the pumpkin patch to “trash, like they’re rotten pumpkins!”

“Courtney likes to dress up; so what? Anyone who’s familiar with her milieu…yes, she has a milieu, knows that she turns heads,” Anderson continued.

“Courtney hasn’t had it easy. She’s constantly having to defend her marriage, her wardrobe choices, even her body parts!”
