Alvin, Simon, and Theodore are stranded on a desert island, in desperate need of Dave (Jason Lee) in the upcoming New Regency sequel Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked, which reteams the squeak-rockers with their female equivalent The Chipettes. It’s still a man’s world, as the latest set of four character posters prove. Alvin, Simon, and Theodore are all accounted for, but those pesky Chipettes are nowhere to be seen. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked comes to theaters December 16th, 2011 and stars Matthew Gray Gubler, Amy Poehler, Jesse McCartney, Andy Buckley, Luisa D’Oliveira, Lauren Gottlieb, Tucker Albrizzi, Jenny Slate. The film is directed by Mike Mitchell.
