Sugarland returned to Indianapolis to perform a free concert honoring the victims of a stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair this summer.
Seven people were killed in August when an outdoor stage collapsed just minutes before the band was set to perform.
“It may be an emotional show tonight, but it will also be a celebratory show tonight,” singer Jennifer Nettles told the audience. “We are all changed by what happened then. But we are going to try to give you the best show that we can and to celebrate healing with you and to celebrate life and music with you here tonight.”
