Secrets to Christina Ricci’s Fab Figure

Christina Ricci looks picture-perfect as a stewardess in the TV series Pan Am. So to get her in top shape for those curve-hugging costumes, she sought the help of celebrity trainer Elizabeth Hendrix Burwell at High Performance in New York.

“Since the show is set in the ’60s, before it became mainstream for a woman to work out, I have to keep on eye on Christina so she doesn’t get too ripped-looking,” Elizabeth tells In Touch.

So the pair meets for one-hour sessions two to three times a week to do strength training. “We do a dance based, active flexibility warmup for about five to 10 minutes. Then we move on to 10 to 15 lat pull-downs and 8-10 pull-ups. Christina can even do a one arm pull-up,” says Elizabeth.

The rest of the workout consists of push-ups, squats, leg raises and shoulder lifts with five-pound weights. “We always finish up with some Pilates and stretching,” she adds.
