Warner Bros. hires writers for Clash of the Titans 3

Warner Bros. has hired Wrath of the Titans writers Dan Mazeau and David Johnson to write Clash of the Titans 3 just months before Wrath of the Titans hits theaters on March 30, 2012.

Dan Mazeau and David Johnson wrote Wrath of the Titans with Steven Knight, and shared a story credit with Greg Berlanti. Little is known about the story of Clash of the Titans 3, although insiders claim Toby Kebbell‘s Agenor, a sidekick to Sam Worthington‘s Perseus in Wrath of the Titans, may figure in heavily to the Clash of the Titans 3 story.

It is also believed that Wrath of the Titans director Jonathan Liebesman and producers Basil Iwanyk and Polly Cohen Johnsen will return for Clash of the Titans 3, although no deals have been worked out quite yet.

The 2010 adventure Clash of the Titans grossed nearly $500 million worldwide, which paved the way for Wrath of the Titans.

Wrath of the Titans comes to theaters March 30th, 2012 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Édgar Ramírez, Rosamund Pike, Toby Kebbell, Danny Huston. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

Clash of the Titans 3 comes to theaters in 2013.

Clash of the Titans was released April 2nd, 2010 and stars Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Flemyng, Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos, Tine Stapelfeldt, Mads Mikkelsen. The film is directed by Louis Leterrier.
