Lionsgate has given a date of July 26, 2013 for its remake to the 1987 classic Dirty Dancing. The original starred Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
The classic tale follows Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman while she is spending the summer in a holiday camp with her family, Frances (‘Baby’) falls in love with the camp’s dancing teacher.
Kenny Ortega will be directing and Debra Martin Chase will produce the new film for Lionsgate.
Dirty Dancing comes to theaters in 2013. The film is directed by Kenny Ortega.
