Once Upon a Time there was a beautiful princess, the fairest in all the land, who was banished from her kingdom by the Evil Queen until a charming prince came to her rescue.
This Sunday’s episode of Once will offer a glimpse into Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming’s (Josh Dallas) first meeting, though ABC’s take is different from what we know of the fairy tales. In the original Snow White, the Evil Queen attempts to kill porcelain-skinned princess several times, eventually giving her a poisoned apple that puts Snow White into a deep, almost death-like sleep. Prince Charming comes to her rescue, waking her with a sweet kiss, and they live happily ever after.
