Relativity Media will release their military drama Act of Valor in theaters February 17, 2012. The studio is partnering up with the video game Battlefield 3 to help promote the movie with five “dog tags” users can download for the game by watching the extended Act of Valor trailer at ActOfValor.com/BF3. Act of Valor follows a Navy SEAL squad on a covert mission to recover a kidnapped CIA agent, and in the process takes down a complex web of terrorist cells determined to strike America at all costs. The filmmakers had unprecedented Naval access resulting in high-octane combat sequences and never-before-seen military operation scenes which are composited from actual events in the lives of the men appearing in the film and their comrades.
Act of Valor comes to theaters February 17th, 2012 and stars Roselyn Sanchez, Emilio Rivera, Jason Cottle, Nestor Serrano, Gonzalo Menendez, Ailsa Marshall, Alex Veadov, Drea Castro. The film is directed by Mike McCoy, Scott Waugh.
