David Oyelowo has joined director Steven Spielberg‘s, Lincoln.
The 2012 biographical drama film directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln and Sally Field as Mary Todd Lincoln. The film is based on Doris Kearns Goodwin‘s biography of Lincoln, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln. The story focuses on the life of President Lincoln, focusing on his rise to politics and his influence in the Civil War.

Lincoln comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, John Hawkes, Tim Blake Nelson. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg.
