The death of Rita Hayworth‘s grandson has been presumed a suicide but the initial autopsy performed by medical examiners has proven inconclusive and officials are now awaiting the results of a toxicology report.
Andrew Embiricos, 25, was found lying face-up on the bed of his New York City apartment on Sunday at around 9 p.m. with a plastic bag over his head, reported RadarOnline.com.

While no suicide note was left with the body, which was discovered by friend Aaron Edwards, law enforcement officials say the Hollywood icon’s grandson had a history of suicide attempts, according to the New York Post.
A graduate of Fordham University with a degree in psychology, Embiricos was the son of Hayworth’s daughter, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan and Greek shipping heir Basil Embiricos.

A source told the Post that his mom rushed to his apartment as soon as she heard the news.
Andrew had a troubling dark side that had recently overshadowed his famous heritage, including a reckless streak with “fewer sexual boundaries than Anna Nicole (Smith),” revealed friend and Village Voice blogger, Michael Musto.
