The first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man depicts Peter Parker, played by The Social Network‘s Andrew Garfield, in search of continuing his father’s legacy. Parker struggles with balancing his personal life that includes girlfriend Gwen (Emma Stone) with his destiny as a superhero. Of course, such double duty is more complicated when the city’s police chief (Denis Leary) is your girlfriend’s father.
