It seems Paget Brewster can’t stay away from a crime scene. The actress, who played Emily Prentiss on Criminal Minds for six seasons before leaving the show earlier this year, will guest-star on the season premiere of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, NBC announced Wednesday.
The actress will appear as the head of the Public Integrity Unit in the District Attorney’s office. Her character will be assigned to the case against Dann Florek’s Capt. Cragen, who is suspected of murder after last season’s shocking finale, in which Cragen woke up with a dead prostitute in his bed.
