‘X Factor’ Taps Marc Anthony as Mentor for Simon Cowell’s Team (REPORT)

Marc Anthony has reportedly become a mentor on the second season of FOX’s The X Factor.

TMZ reports that the Latin pop sensation has signed a deal with FOX to mentor Simon Cowell’s contestants on the reality show.

Anthony, 43, is no stranger to reality shows having worked with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez on FOX’s Q’Viva!: The Chosen, which sought out the next big Latin performance group traveling Latin America to find their stars.

Who else will mentor this season’s batch of ‘ X Factor’ contestants?

Last week, it was reported that Justin Bieber would also join The X Factor in a mentor role for L.A. Reid’s team. Meanwhile, Nick Jonas would team up with his Camp Rock co-star Demi Lovato.

With a mentor for each of the four teams, there has yet to be a report regarding who may help Britney Spears’ group of aspiring singers during the competition.

A FOX spokesperson tells Celebuzz the network has no comment on the report.

The second season of The X Factor premieres Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 8 PM on FOX.
