New York Fashion Week Spring 2013: Front-Row Celeb Sightings (GALLERY)

There’s some serious star style power at New York Fashion Week. From trendsetting starlets to Olympic gold medalists and even Hollywood’s hottest hunks, the stars sitting front row are getting nearly as much attention as the fashion on the Spring 2013 fashion ready-to-wear runways.

Clad in the season’s latest styles, fashion week regulars — Alexa Chung, Kate Bosworth, Heidi Klum, Olivia Palermo, Nicky Hilton and Lauren Conrad — are making the rounds at the most in-demand shows and parties.

And this season, a fresh crop of stylish notables have joined them.

Hailee Steinfeld, Girls‘ star (and NBC anchor Brian Williams’ daughter) Allison Williams and Kendall and Kylie Jenner all scored tickets to the week’s hottest shows and events.

The growing group of  celebs turned fashion designers are in town to promote their own collections this week. Celebrity designers like Whitney Port and Rachel Zoe have all taken breaks from preparing their new collections to check out the stylish scene. Also spotted out and about this week: Jennifer Hudson and Nicole Richie. Both stars are in town to promote their collections for QVC.

This season, far more more men have joined New York’s fashion elite at Lincoln Center, the hub of New York’s Fashion Week — and not on the arm of their ladies. Kellan Lutz, Nick Cannon and the men of Matchbox 20 have held their own in the front row this week.

Following Roger Federer‘s lead, we’ve also seen a slew of athletes taking a break from training to catch some shows. The Olympic Fab 5 gymnasts, swim star Ryan Lochte and NBA stars Chris Bosh and Kris Humphries are proving that sports and style can go hand-in-hand while attending the Spring 2013 shows.
