Once can only imagine what it must be like finding a wedding dress when you can count coveted designers for famed houses like Gucci, Chanel and Marchesa among your friends. So what did Blake Lively, wear for her top-secret wedding to Ryan Reynolds in South Carolina this weekend?
The Gossip Girl star, who is often seen on the arm of Karl Lagerfeld, chose a Chanel gown for the couple’s plantation nuptials, while Reynolds, who favors tailored suits for the red carpet, wore a Hugo Boss suit.
It’s likely that the actress walked the aisle in red-soled shoes by Christian Louboutin, her good friend, whom sources spotted in South Carolina this weekend. The couple’s wedding rings were designed by jeweler-to-the-stars Lorraine Schwartz.
So what did the dress look like?
Though pictures of the gown have yet to be released, Lively is often snapped wearing white on the red carpet – even wearing a very bridal-esque gown while promoting The Green Lantern with Reynolds. And judging by her past red carpet choices, the tall beauty likely chose a long form-fitting mermaid or trumpet gown to flatter her sexy curves.
