It may look like Justin Bieber has done it all: sold millions of albums, starred in a hit concert film and even wrote a memoir, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story.
But judging from the title of his second book, he’s Just Getting Started.
And he’s also getting real with his fans. Bieber, 18, revealed that one subject he’s not shying away from in his new book is Mariah Yeater, the young woman who accused the teen singer of fathering her child.
What did Bieber have to say about his new tell-all?
“The new book #JustGettingStarted hits stores this week. got a lot to say in there. even about [Mariah] YEATER,” he wrote on Monday.
This isn’t the first time Bieber has opened up about Yeater’s paternity suit. In fact, he even wrote an entire song about the accusations on his latest album Believe.
Although Bieber’s camp wouldn’t confirm that the song in question, “Maria,” was about anyone in particular, the real life connections were undeniable.
“Maria, why you wanna play me like that? / She ain’t my baby, she ain’t my girl / But she talking in, and she needs to quit it / But never this, all I know she’s not mine,” Bieber crooned on the track.
Just Getting Started hits book shelves this Thursday.
