‘X Factor’s’ Simon Cowell Confirms Khloe Kardashian Is in the Running for Co-Host (VIDEO)

Now that Simon Cowell has confirmed to Celebuzz that Kevin McHale and Kelly Osbourne will not be the hosts of FOX’s The X Factor, who can we look forward to taking the reigns from Season 1 host Steve Jones?

Cowell told Ellen DeGeneres on her show Tuesday that, “It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work.” Though he says he’s doesn’t always like putting hosts on the show, the snarky judge followed up by saying, “We have to find people who have a great chemistry but Khloe is definitely up there in running.”

As part of The Ellen Degeneres Show’s tenth anniversary premiere week, Cowell and fellow judge Britney Spears dished about Spears’ nerves and that other reality show which just premiered.

What made Spears so nervous?

The pop star, 30, reveals she was really nervous before taking on the judging gig, but had tons of fun once she actually got out there. Though the “Baby One More Time” singer says she uses “constructive criticism” when critiquing the contestants, Cowell told Degeneres, “I’ve never heard someone say no so quickly in my entire life.”

“I prefer to be honest. I think that’s the best way to go,” continued Spears.

Meanwhile, Cowell mentioned his anger towards NBC’s The Voice, which purposefully changed its premiere this week to three nights in an effort to go head-to-head with the Brit, Spears, Demi Lovato, and L.A. Reid on Wednesday night.

Cowell pointed out that he would never do something like that and that he thinks the spoiling tactic is wrong.

“I know what happened is, they got wind of how good our first episode is,” Cowell explained. “Britney, I have to say is amazing, as is Demi. And they have done this because they don’t want people to see them on the show. My gut feeling is that it is going to backfire on them, because you don’t mess with the audience.”

In addition to the interview, Spears also learned the latest dance craze courtesy of Korean Rapper PSY. Teaching the star the “Gangnam Style,” an “invisible horse dance,” ended in hilarious results as both Spears and Degeneres attempted the moves.
