It’s rare that a Hollywood relationship lasts as long as a tattoo, but that still doesn’t faze celebrities as they continue to declare their undying love with permanent body art.
Tom Arnold, 53, was the latest celeb to admit that his romantic tattoo was a huge mistake, saying that his ink dedicated to ex-wife Roseanne Barr, 59, was the worst thing he has ever done.
Whether it was a tattooing a loved one’s name, face or wedding date, many celebs had their romantic gestures fell by the way side when the romance fizzled.
So who else regrets their choice of ink?
Kat Von D, 30, had former fiancé Jesse James’ mug inked on her ribcage, only to break up with him before they even had a chance to book the chapel.
Johnny Depp, 49, had “Winona Forever” — in honor of then-girlfriend Winona Ryder — inked on his arm, but later changed it to “Wino Forever” when they split in 1993.
Angelina Jolie, 37, is also famous for her body art but has had much of it altered or removed. In place of her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton‘s name, Jolie now has the coordinates of her children’s birthplaces tattooed on her bicep.
She also had the matching Japanese symbol she had with ex-hubby Jonny Lee Miller, 39, removed.
Russell Brand, 37, has also reportedly attempted to erase his 14-month marriage to Katy Perry, 27; as did Eva Longoria, 37, who now covers up her Tony Parker tattoo with makeup during red carpet events.
