The cast of Gossip Girl isn’t new to the fashion world. Almost every cast member has been featured in a clothing or beauty campaign since the show’s beginning.
Penn Badgley, 25, is the latest star to be tagged as the face of a major fashion house. He stars in Alexander Wang’s Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear video alongside rappers A$AP Rocky and Diplo.
Penn’s girlfriend, Zoe Kravitz, 23, is very close with the designer and sat front row at his spring show last February. Unfortunately, both were at the Toronto Film Festival and were therefore unable to attend Wang’s Fall 2012 show.
Which other Gossip Girl stars has found success in fashion campaigns?
Newlywed Blake Lively, 25, has a roster of fashion campaigns up her sleeve. Her debut was for none other than Chanel, where she posed for Karl Lagerfeld’s camera and posed with handbags and accessories. Her latest campaign, however, is for the Gucci fragrance, Premiere.
The blonde stunner channels old Hollywood glamour in the shots.
Next up is Leighton Meester, 26, who appeared in Vera Wang’s fantastic fragrance, Love Struck. The singer-actress looks gorgeous in the romantic ads and claims she’s been a longtime fan of Wang’s.
Ed Westwick, 25, is a full-blown fashionista. He walked in the Philipp Plein fashion show in July 2012, was featured in Plein’s ad campaign, and also starred in the Kswiss print ads in 2011. It looks like Westwick is taking cues from Chuck Bass himself.
Both Jessica Szohr, 27, and Taylor Momsen, 19, have also been in advertisements for major fashion brands – OP and Madonna’s Material Girl line respectively.
