Spotted with a metal-clad mouth, the 24-year-old songstress dined with her friends at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif. on Tuesday.
She’s been making all kinds of fashion statements lately — shiny grill, new pixie cut, fresh ink, super long nails, and finger bling — aside from the other headlines she’s been making such as her kiss with ex Chris Brown at the MTV Video Music Awards.
What kind of image is she trying to achieve?
Similar to rappers rocking heavy chain necklaces glistening with diamonds around their necks, grills aren’t just a fashion fad — they’re status symbols of wealth and power in the hip-hop community.
But the rest of her outfit didn’t really mesh with the flashy grill.
The singer donned a black and white printed blouse and tiny cut-offs as she strolled around in ski-high booties — looking extra chic with her pink pout.
As she enjoyed the evening with her friends, it was definitely a day of remembrance for the star, tweeting “We will never forget this day! 9/11.”
