Now it’s double mommy duty for Adriana Lima!
The Victoria’s Secret Angel and husband, former NBA player Marko Jaric, welcomed their second daughter Wednesday in New York City.
“Marko and I are overjoyed to welcome Sienna into our family and Valentina is looking forward to becoming a big sister!” she tweeted afterward. Their newborn bundle of joy joins older sister Valentina, who was born in 2009.
Lima and Jaric — who tied the knot in February 2009 — welcomed Sienna at 1 p.m., with the baby girl weighing in around 7 pounds, according to Us Weekly.
But Lima is not the only Angel to pop one out this year.
Fellow Victoria’s Secret stunner Lily Aldridge welcomed a baby girl, Dixie Pearl, in June, and Alessandra Ambrosio welcomed her second child, a son named Noah, in May.
Back in March, Lima — the face of Donna Karan — took to Twitter to announce her second pregnancy. “My favorite job in the world is being a mom!” she tweeted excitedly. “My family could not be more happy.”
But just two weeks ago, the now mom-of-two insisted she didn’t know the sex of her baby-to-be. “For the rumors about the gender of my and Markos baby I would like to make clear that both me and my husband don’t know,” she tweeted on Aug. 30.
But now that her second little girl has arrived, will Brazilian bombshell follow in the footsteps of Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr by sashaying down the runway just weeks after giving birth? Reports indicate Lima plans to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 7, set to air Dec. 4 on CBS.
