When Kate Hudson makes her steamy debut as dance teacher Cassandra July on the season premiere of FOX’S Glee, you may see some familiar faces in her class.
Enrolling in NYADA with Rachel (Lea Michele) are So You Think You Can Dance alums Melanie Moore and Marko Germar and no one was more excited to see them on set than Hudson herself.
“I just flipped out. I’m a huge Melanie fan. I was a total geek, going ‘I love you guys so much,’” the actress says on Thursday’s The Ellen Show. “They were going, ‘This is so weird. Thanks.’ And I’m just like, ‘No, really, I’m really obsessed with you and your dance with the statues.’ And then I get to be mean to all of them so it’s really fun.”
For Hudson’s role on Glee, she has to travel back and forth from London where her fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy lives.
Will the traveling couple tie the knot soon?
“Well, we don’t really know,” says the How to Lose a Guy in 10 days star. “We’re sort of going back and forth about, you know, is it a big wedding? Are we going to get married on a mountaintop? You know we’ve both been so into having a baby and our life schedules. We just want to make sure it’s right when it happens.”
Hudson, 33 and Bellamy, 34 welcomed their song Bingham last summer.
She says while it’s been crazy going back and forth from Los Angeles to London for her and Bellamy, the kids are doing just fine. While Bingham talks to everyone on the plane, older bro Ryder is very into his movies.
To help the mom on the go, Ellen Degeneres presented her with a hilarious vest full of baby goodies including pacifiers, toys, and food containers. She thinks the kids will just love it.
