Eva Longoria has found herself a brand-new athlete.
The 37-year-old former star of Desperate Housewives confirmed to Extra this week that she is indeed dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, 25.
“Mark and I are, you know, fine,” she said, when probed by Extra host and close friend Mario Lopez.
“We’re happy just dating.”
Longoria was previously in an on-again, off-again relationship with Eduardo Cruz, the brother of Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz. They split in June.
She’s been married twice, to Tyler Christopher, of General Hospital fame, and basketball star Tony Parker.
Of course, actresses dating athletes dates back to the good ol’ days of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio and beyond.
