New faces and old drama on the Season 2 premiere of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami
Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Thursday’s episode, “A Tale of Two Miamis.”
Out with the old, in with the new drama seems to be the theme for the Season 2 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami. Viewers were quickly introduced to new castmembers, consisting of model and former Dancing With The Stars contestant Joanna Krupp, stay-at-home-wife Lisa Hochstein, lawyer Ana Quincoce, and Dr. Karent Sierra, the self-proclaimed “dentist of the stars.”
The ladies were jockeying for the position of top diva right out the gate, er, gated community, with their unabashed display of wealth and status. Meanwhile, the veterans quickly brought everyone up to speed on what’s been taking place since the cameras stopped rolling on Season 1.
Marysol Patton dished on the end of her marriage, after having renewed her vows. Lea Black had moved to the elite Star Island to rub elbows with A-listers and Adriana De Moura was still engaged and gearing up to move on a yacht with Frederic.
The recaps lasted longer than the average recovery time for a socialite’s face lift. Things picked up when Dr. Karent began spilling tea about upcoming scandals and gossip. Apparently, the teeth fixer is dating telenovela star Rodolfo Jiménez, whom she claimed Ana had tried to put the moves on!
Karent said she wasn’t phased by Ana texting her man on the down-low, because he wasn’t into “older women.” Ouch!
Ana told another story when the gang came together at a party. According to Ms. Quincoces, Rodolfo came onto her when they met six months ago! The pair spent time at the hospital with former Housewife Alexia Echeverria, and let Ana tell it, he’d been quite the bugaboo ever since!
As the housewives schmoozed and gave each other the once over, Rodolfo introduced himself to the group and acted as if he’d never met Ana at all. Ana tried to save face by saying Karent’s relationship was only for show. Looks like a battle of she said/she said will fuel this season of RHOM.

OMG!: Lisa discussing giving her housekeeper plastic surgery as a gift. She must really know how to use Pine-Sol to get that present!

Awk-ward: Mama Elsa rubbing the tray full of dirt all over her hands and arms for “engery.” Uber creepy.
Hotness: Joanna’s photo shoot. She knows how to own a camera.
Fab-u-lous: The ladies attire for the party. They just oozed glam.
Can. Not. Wait.: I want to see the catfight between Karent and Joanna and if Ana is telling the truth about Rudolfo.
