With exactly a month left until the Season 3 premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead, we are getting more and more anxious about just how our survivors will, well survive, in their new home of the prison.
After all, this season’s tagline is, “Fight the Dead. Fear the living”
And Celebuzz has your first look at the season premiere including two exclusive creepy photos, which show the danger that specifically Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) will be getting into.
What intel can we gather from these photos?
Both of our exclusive shots indicate that our survivors are in for trouble at the West Georgia correctional facility.
Our leader Rick looks as if he is in dire straights as walkers from the prison are headed his way. But who could he be looking at?
And poor Carl. That kid has grown up way faster than he should have because of the zombie apocalypse. He’s really come a long way. Wearing his father’s old sheriff hat, he’s seen standing on a top rail of the prison pointing his gun out at walkers we presume.
Season 3 is set to bring a lot of challenges for our band of heroes and not just of the dead kind. One of the ultimate villains from the comic books, the Governor (David Morrissey), is set to make his much-anticipated debut as the survivors enter Woodbury.
Also making her official debut is zombie hunter Michonne (Danai Gurira) who saved Andrea (Laurie Holden) from certain death in the crazy Season 2 finale.

The first eight episodes of Season 3 of The Walking Dead will premiere Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9 PM on AMC. The second half of the season premieres in Feburary of 2013.
