Lea Michele has done it again. The Glee starlet is covering yet another Britney Spears classic on Thursday night’s all-new episode of the Fox comedy, appropriately titled “Britney 2.0.”
When Cassie (Kate Hudson) tells Rachel (Michele) that she isn’t sexy enough to pull off a tango, the NYADA freshman enlists upperclassman Brody (Dean Geyer) to help her sex up her choreography. Be warned, Finchel fans. You may want to avert your eyes for this racy routine.
Meanwhile, back at McKinley, Brittany (Heather Morris) is feeling down without her girlfriend Santana (Naya Rivera).
Brittany feels depressed without Santana, so she turns to her idol Britney Spears for inspiration. The Cheerio will perform Spears’ hits, “Hold It Against Me” and “Gimme More.” She’ll also get the honor of quoting the popstar’s now infamous line, “It’s Britney, b****.”
Meanwhile, Artie (Kevin McHale) and Blaine (Darren Criss) — in their first duet — will take on a mashup of “Boys” and Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend.” Sam (Chord Overstreet) will sing an acoustic version of Spears’ “3″, alongside Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Teen Jesus, Joe (Samuel Larsen).
As for the newbies, Unique (Alex Newell) takes on “Womanizer.” Jake (Jacob Artist) and Marley (Melissa Benoist) will perform a mashup of ”(You Drive Me) Crazy” and Aerosmith’s “Crazy.” Could this be the start of a new McKinley romance?
Glee airs Thurs., Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET. In the meantime, check out the music from “Britney 2.0″ below.
