Sorry Meredith Swift, but there’s a new celebrity cat vying for your internet fame. Meet Mercy Kardashian, Kim Kardashian’s adorable new furry BFF.
Kardashian introduced her new teacup persian to her more than 16 million Twitter followers. “Meet Mercy,” she wrote, along with a photo of her tiny Miami sidekick.
Kardashian is currently in Miami with her sisters filming the all-new season of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami — and it looks like Mercy will be the series’ newest cast member.
Mercy may be new to the Kardashian family, but the little kitten already knows how to strike a pose. The Kardashian sisters have been tweeting photos with Mercy since her arrival on Sunday. ”My new baby Mercy! #TeacupPersian,” Kardashian tweeted, showing off her kitty’s good looks with a collage of photos.
Even Karadashian’s human BFF Jonathan Cheban was caught cuddling up to Mercy.

While Kardashian has remained mum on her new pet’s name, Mercy happens to also be the name of her beau Kanye West’s new single. We know that West likes to gift his lady love with new clothes, but was Mercy a gift as well?
Looks like we’ll have to wait until the January 2013 premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami to find out.
