One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson Attacks Internet Troll Who Verbally Abused His Mom

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson gave his near six million Twitter followers quite a shock on Sunday.

The 20-year-old lost his temper after one Internet troll verbally abused his mom. ”Can I ask why this is ok?,” Tomlinson tweeted. “To think someone would speak to my Mum like that sickens me. Grow the f*** up!”

Tomlinson tweeted a screenshot of the vile exchange between his mother and a boorish fan — and it wasn’t pretty.

After one fan asked his Tomlinson’s star status was turning him into an “a**,” his mother tweeted, “Lou is not an a**! All he is asking is people respect his lovely girlfriend Eleanor! It’s not too much. Please.”

One troll, tweeting under the name @plasticbieber, then messaged his mother, stating, “You should have aborted louis.” But it was another troll that caught Tomlinson’s attention. The user, tweeting under the name @5pmUKtime, tweeted his mom, saying, “Shut the f*** up with your lovely bulls*** you’re the biggest f*** up stay the f*** out of this.”

The One Direction singer then embarked on a Twitter rant. ”All I’ve ever wanted to do from day one is please the people who support us,” he tweeted. “It’s hard when people are rude to our families.”

Tomlinson then apologized. “I’ve clearly flipped on twitter today. I’m sorry to any REAL fan of ours that I’ve offended.”

The young singer also went after a fan who brought up another sore subject: Larry, the nickname fans created for idea of Tomlinson and bandmate Harry Styles as a couple. “Larry is the biggest load of bulls*** I’ve ever heard,” he tweeted. “I’m happy why can’t you accept that.”

This isn’t the first time a member of the boy band has lost his temper on Twitter. In August, Zayn Malik deleted his account for just under 48 hours. He tweeted: “The reason i don’t tweet as much as i use to, is because I’m sick of all the useless opinions and hate that i get daily goodbye twitter :)”

Why did Malik delete his account? It could have been from the criticism he received from fans over his relationship with Perrie Edwards, 19, with some even claiming the couple’s romance was fake. Edwards deleted her Twitter account in May after the  abuse from fans seemed too much to handle.

Meanwhile, One Direction’s Liam Payne and Tomlinson’s girlfriends Danielle Peazer and Eleanor Calder, respectively, have both endured their share of Twitter abuse.

In June, Payne tweeted a series of messages in defense Peazer, who has been charged by some One Direction fans with only dating the singer for his fame.

“Just as I start to like twitter again I see the nasty side of people who like to dislike somebody who makes me … Me,” the 18-year-old wrote. He added: “”#SometimesIHateTwitter when it becomes a place to abuse people who uve never met never did anything to you but you still choose to be cruel [sic].”
