Amanda Bynes has been charged with two counts of driving with a suspended license.
According to TMZ, the charges, issued Friday, are related to Bynes’ double traffic stop from Sept. 16, with the first citation occurring just an hour-and-a-half before the second.
Documents obtained by TMZ also note that the same airport authority official stopped the actress, who was driving her black BMW in Burbank. The car was later impounded.
Bynes also faces a DUI charge from April and two hit-and-run charges from August.
Despite the bizarre behavior Bynes has displayed in the last year, the 26-year-old recently told People that she is “doing amazing.”
“I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line . . . I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink, and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false,” she said in a phone interview with People last Wednesday.
Bynes is due in court on Oct. 16 to address her new charges, followed by a pre-trial hearing on Oct. 29 for her DUI charge, according to Reuters.
