‘Breaking Bad’s’ Anna Gunn is ‘Floating on Cloud 9′ During Emmy Weekend (VIDEO)

Anna Gunn of AMC’s Breaking Bad feels like she is, “floating on cloud 9” with her nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress at this weekend’s Emmy Awards.

Gunn, who is nominated for her brilliant portrayal of Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) wife, Skyler White, on the critically acclaimed show, is excited for her cast to get together on TV’s biggest night.

Speaking with Celebuzz at the Variety and Women in Film pre-Emmy event in Beverly Hills, she told us, “We have a really good time together as a cast so I think its just going to be a great party. I really do.”

What designer will Gunn be donning should she win her award?

“J. Mendel,” says Gunn. “It’s a sculptural dress, it really is. It’s constructed so beautifully. It’s the most beautiful dress I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on. Its red, that’s all I’m going to say. I’ll save the rest for Sunday.”

With Breaking Bad entering the second half of it’s final season in 2013, it would be nice to see Gunn take home the coveted trophy. Though, she’ll face some tough competition on Sunday night as she goes head to head with Christine Baranski (The Good Wife), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) and Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey).

For now, Gunn is focusing on the fun to be had during the party packed Emmy weekend. “Just tonight I’ve been able to see friends that I work with and people that I’ve been watching, that I’ve admired for years. I feel like a kid in a candy store sort of wide eyed with a big smile on my face. It’s really fun to be able to mingle with your peers and say you know I love your work. I think its great.”

The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air live on Sunday at 7PM ET, 4PM PT on ABC.

Breaking Bad’s final season returns in Summer 2013 on AMC.
