Ariel Winter will have at least two weddings to shop for in the next year or so, thanks to the recent engagements of costars Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and their respective partners.
On Friday night, the Modern Family actress spoke out about Vergara’s upcoming wedding to businessman beau Nick Loeb and Ferguson’s newly announced engagement to lawyer Justin Mikita.
“It was incredible. I mean they’re both so happy,” Winter, 14, told Celebuzz at the Variety and Women in Film pre-Emmys event in Beverly Hills.
“Jesse and Justin are adorable and Sofia and Nick are adorable, and it’s just nice to see them happy and in love. It’s the best,” she added.
With the Emmys just around the corner, what did the young actress have to say about the comedy’s chances come Sunday night?
“I feel so honored. It’s really incredible to be nominated three years in a row consecutively, and you know, have a chance of winning,” Winter said.
On Sunday, the ABC comedy will be battling for the Best Comedy Series title against 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Girls and Veep.
Vergara, Ferguson, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen are all nominated for acting prizes in the supporting categories.
