Eric Stonestreet has a few words for the celebrity gossip world: he is not dating Charlize Theron.
At least, that’s what Stonestreet wants fans to believe.
On Sunday, after The Daily Mail reported that he had been romantically involved with Theron, the actor took to Twitter to clear the air.

According to The Daily Mail, Stonestreet and Theron were introduced by mutual friends earlier this year.
“Charlize and Eric get along incredibly well. They started off as friends but things are blossoming between them . . . Eric is down to earth and funny and Charlize thinks the world of him. It’s early days but they’re very fond of each other,” a source told the paper.
One thing is certain, Theron, 37, does have a new man in her life: her son Jackson, who was adopted earlier this year.
The South African actress was previously in long-term relationship with Stuart Townsend. The pair split in 2010 after nearly a decade together.
Stonestreet, who is up for a Primetime Emmy award for Best Supporting Actor on Sunday night, recently split from Broadway star Katherine Tokarz.
Reps for Theron and Stonestreet did not return Celebuzz’s request for comment.
