Sean Lowe has been named the next star of The Bachelor, People reports.
Lowe, 28, quickly became a fan favorite on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette before getting the boot just prior to the season finale. “I wanted it to be you so bad,” she told him at the time of his elimination. “I thought it was the most emotional, heartfelt goodbye we’ve ever had,” host Chris Harrison told TVGuide.com at the time.
Emily went on to choose Jef Holm over Arie Luyendyk Jr; the two are now engaged.
