TV Buzz: ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Finale Hits Season-High Ratings; Entire ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 8 Available Online

The Season 4 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey earned its highest ratings of the season this Sunday with a total of 3.4 million viewers and 2 million in the key 18-49 demographic. The show gave Bravo the No. 1 spot for cable networks in the 10 PM hour. [Bravo]

Now through Oct. 6, all 24 episodes of Season 8 will be available so that you can relive every moment leading up to the tragic plane crash which left our favorite doctors in peril. Hart of Dixielike The Vampire Diaries — just snagged an Olympian guest star. Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney, a member of the gold medal–winning U.S. team in the 2012 Summer Olympics, will guest star on the series. She will play Tonya, a friend of Rose’s (McKaley Miller), who comes to Rose’s defense. Hart of Dixie returns Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 8 PM on The CW. [The CW]

Bravo is opening Top Chef Kitchen in collaboration with operators of the New York City restaurant, Distilled New York. The limited run one-of-a-kind dining experience will open Tuesday, Oct. 16 and feature menus created by Top Chef alumni including Richard Blais and Jennifer Caroll. Top Chef Kitchen will serve a four-course prix-fixe dinner or an exclusive “Chef’s Table” eight-course tasting menu nightly on Tuesdays. [Bravo]

A new original series, Oprah: Where are They Now?, will premiere on Oct. 2 on OWN. The show will feature new interviews with some of Oprah Winfrey’s most memorable news-making guests from years past including Kato Kaelin, Mary Jo Buttafuoco and Rodney King among others. The first episode will feature “The Children Oprah Never Forgot” and will premiere at 10 PM on OWN. [OWN]

Dog the Bounty Hunter is back on CMT. The cable channel has given the green light to Dog, an unscripted series that will follow the bounty hunter and wife Beth Chapman track fugitives with fellow bail bondsman. Ten one-hour episodes of the series have bene ordered from the network with production set to begin in early 2013. The show will air in Spring/Summer 2013. [CMT]

The first graduating class of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls will celebrate in a two-hour special on the OWN network on Oct. 14 at 9 PM. The special, The First Graduating Class: Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, will take viewers inside the ups and downs of Oprah’s quest to provide premium education to underprivileged girls in South Africa. Not only will viewers get to meet the girls but they will also follow them through the journey of their senior year and applying to college. [OWN]

Lori Allen of TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta will share her emotional story about her fight against breast cancer on a new show. The special, Say Yes to the Cure: Lori’s Fight, will chronicle the bridal shop owner’s journey through surgery and recovery. The staff of Lori’s shop will also be featured taking the reigns of the store helping cancer survivor DeLese Range in this difficult time. TLC is set to air the special, Friday, Oct. 26 at 10 PM. David Meunier will be making his return to FX’s Justified for Season 4. The actor, who can currently be seen on NBC’s Revolution, will appear in 10 of the 13 episodes on the new season of the FX drama. Meunier’s character, Johnny Crowder, was last seen betraying his cousin Boyd (Walter Goggins) in the third season finale of Justified. Meunier can also be seen on an upcoming episode of the CW’s Nikita. [THR]
