As Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez fans all over the world continue to play the guessing game as to exactly what led the young lovebirds to splitsville, Celebuzz is taking a look back at the couple’s best and hottest PDA moments.
According to E! News, Bieber, 19 and Gomez, 20, broke up about one week ago.
“Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship,” a source told E!
From their courtside PDA fest at a Lakers game to many, many beachside moments, Bieber and Gomez were not shy about their feelings for each other for the duration of their courtship.
They were also candid about each other in interviews.
“I don’t keep her separate from me because I don’t ever want to make her feel like I’m ashamed of her,” the Canadian superstar recently told Oprah Winfrey in an episode of Next Chapter, airing Nov. 25.
As for Gomez, who’s been on the receiving end of some harsh words from Bieber fans since the pair started dating more than one year ago, the Wizards of Waverly Place star recently had some kind words for the Beliebers out there.
“I adore his fans,” she confessed in Glamour magazine’s holiday issue. “I would never, ever want to disrespect them. You know, I get it. I was obsessed with Jesse McCartney growing up! He was my world. My high school crush. So I respect it, and if anything, I admire it.”
Bieber and Gomez first went public with their relationship in February 2011, when they were each other’s dates for the annual Vanity Fair Oscar bash in Hollywood.
