Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made other headlines earlier this week, one day after President Barack Obama was reelected for a second term.
Us Weekly reported on Wednesday that Obama had received a personal congratulatory note from the royal couple. But St. James’s place soon shot down the story.
A spokesperson confirmed with Socialite Lifethat the story was in fact “no ttrue” and that “no statement” was ever sent from William and Catherine.
