Carmen Electra has a few kind words for Simon Cowell – but don’t expect any of those words to be “boyfriend.”
“I’m actually single right now,” Electra, 40, told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview. “We’re friends and we worked together on Britain’s Got Talent. I filled in for a few days. I really like him, he’s a cool guy.”
40-year-old Electra, who ended her four-year engagement with musician Robert Patterson earlier this year, has had other things to focus on since becoming a single lady.
These days, the actress and model has been busy revamping her singing career. Her new single, “I Like It Hot,” comes out on iTunes Nov. 13.
“Right now it’s a really good time for me. I’ve had a lot of changes this past year — good changes, positive changes — and I feel excited about life right now and ni’m in a new place, so I think music’s appropriate for that,” she said.
Electra confessed that Cowell doesn’t even know about her music. But would she ever consider a future on The X Factor?
“I would never ask that of him . . . we’re just friends and that’s it. But I’m a big supporter and I love to watch the show.”
